  Tour boats offer scenic lake cruises throughout the Flathead Valley. Step aboard the Far West, a two-story vessel, for a loop trip at the north end of Flathead Lake and then out for a 360-degree panorama view of the mountains. Ninety-minute twilight tours of Whitefish Lake are offered twice weekly and accommodate 8 to 35 passengers. The trip includes information about the history, folklore and wildlife of Whitefish’s pristine mountain lake. In addition, sailing excursions on Flathead Lake are offered daily. Interpretive boat cruises in Glacier National Park are also available on Lake McDonald, St. Mary Lake, Two Medicine Lake and at Many Glacier.
