1. How far is the Lodge from the airport?
   We are located about 12 miles from the airport or about 15 min. by car.
2. What is the nearest airport, and what airlines service that airport?

The Flathead Valley is serviced by Glacier Park International Airport (FCA). Flights are available through Northwest via Minneapolis, Delta/Sky West via Salt Lake City, Horizon/Alaska Air via Seattle, United/Sky West via Denver, as well as seasonal flights (June - September) through United via Chicago and Delta via Atlanta. The next largest airports are Missoula, Great Falls and Spokane. Please ask our Reservations Department about discounted airfares on Delta and Northwest.
3. In what part of Montana is the Lodge located?
   We are in northwestern Montana, at the north end of the beautiful Flathead Valley, about an hour from the Canadian border.
4. How far is the Lodge from the Ski Resort?
   Whitefish Mountain Resort is located approximately 8 miles from the Lodge.
5. How far is the Lodge from Glacier National Park?
   It is a 30-minute drive to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park and the Going to the Sun Road.
6. How far is the Lodge from Yellowstone National Park?
   Yellowstone is a pleasant 8 hr drive from the Lodge with beautiful scenery along every mile.
7. How far is the Lodge from Calgary or Fernie?
   Canada is our northern neighbor, with Calgary about 5 hours away and Fernie about 1½ hrs. Please keep in mind when crossing the border that you must have a drivers license and birth certificate and/or passport.
8. How long is the drive from Spokane to Whitefish?
   The drive to Spokane generally takes about 4 hours going through St. Regis. Traveling through Missoula takes about 5 hours.

AMENITIES

1. Do you offer shuttle service to the Airport, Amtrak Station and the Ski Resort?
   We offer complimentary shuttle service to and from selected downtown Whitefish locations, the Amtrak Station and the airport. We also offer complimentary shuttle service to/from Whitefish Mountain Resort.
2. Do you have a pool?
   We have an indoor heated pool, 2 outdoor Jacuzzis, a dry sauna and a fitness facility.
3. Do you allow pets?
   We have a no pet policy at Grouse Mountain Lodge. Ask our Reservation specialist about a quality kennel in the area.
4. Where is the nearest car rental? Do we need one?
   It really depends on what area activities you wish to participate in. Dollar Rent-a-Cars are available on-site upon arrival through our concierge, but we suggest pre-booking.
5. How big is the lodge? Will we be in a separate building or in the main lodge?
   We are a full-service 145-guest room resort, with all amenities located inside the central lodge. The only exception is the fitness facility, which is located just off the main lodge area.
6. Do you have babysitters available?
   Our concierge can arrange for babysitting services. Please give us a week's notice to make arrangements.
7. Does the Lodge have a restaurant and does it have a dress code?
   The dress code is casual. The Grill provides a comfortable steak house atmosphere in a Montana Lodge setting. The Wine Room provides a fine dining experience and its own menu. The Deck and Patio gives you a chance to dine outdoors with a view of the mountains and golf course.
8. Does the restaurant offer room service?
   The Grill provides room service for all the hours that the restaurant is open.

1. What kind of family activities do you offer?
   Depending on the season, our Adventure Desk can book numerous activities for you to enjoy while visiting the area, some of these include: Whitewater Rafting, Horseback Riding, Fly-Fishing, Golfing, Sleigh Rides and Cross-Country Skiing.
2. What kind of “Night Life” does Whitefish offer?
   Whitefish offers a variety of restaurants and bars for you to enjoy.

3. What kinds of restaurants are there in Whitefish?
   Whitefish restaurants offer Italian, Mexican, Oriental, and American cuisines as well as gourmet steakhouses, a sushi and oyster bar, and specialty pizza houses.
4. We are elderly. What can we do there?
   Relaxing activities might include a guided tour through Glacier National Park on the famous Red Buses, a scenic cruise on Whitefish Lake, a casual round of golf, or just sitting in our sun lit lobby reading a good book.
5. How many golf courses are in the area?
   There are 9 local golf courses all within an hour of us. See our recreation page for full details.
6. How close is the nearest golf course?
   The Lodge is located on the south 18 holes of the Whitefish Lake Golf Course. The north 18 hole course is a short walk across the street. The next closest course is about a 15-20 minute drive.

   Off-season is typically October to the middle of December, but please contact our Central Reservations for special deals all year long. Or visit our Specials & Packages page on this web site.
2. Do you honor AAA or AARP?
   Depending on availability, we offer either a 10% discounted AAA rate OR a 10% AARP rate. Please keep in mind these discounts may or may not be available.
3. What kind of packages do you offer?

4. What is your cancellation policy?
   One night will be charged the day the reservation is made and is refundable 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled stay will be charged in full. Changes to the length of stay within 14 days of arrival will be charged the full amount of the original reservation.
